Rising deathcore act Lorna Shore has released “Sun//Eater,” the first single from its forthcoming album “Pain Remains,” due out in October 2022.
The band shot the video clip with Loki Films in March at the end of its sold-out U.K. tour in March.
“We’re so happy so be able to put out something different and new that further exemplifies who we’ve become as individuals and as a whole,” vocalist Will Ramos said. “This song/album really brings together everything that we’ve been working towards being and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with you all.”
“It feels like a rebirth of everything for us–the energy, the band, the morale,” drummer Austin Archey said.
“Pain Remains” will follow Lorna Shore’s 2021 EP “… And I Return to Nothingness,” which featured the breakout hit “To the Hellfire.”
The band currently is touring the United States on the “Chaos & Carnage Tour” with Suicide Silence, Carnifex, Upon a Burning Body, AngelMaker and Distant before playing Lollapalooza in Chicago in July. Prior to touring Europe with Parkway Drive and While She Sleeps, Lorna Shore a handful of European summer festivals, as well as select shows with As I Lay Dying and co-headline summer dates with Tesseract.
