Clutch has shared the new single “Slaughter Beach” from its upcoming 13th studio album, “Sunrise on Slaughter Beach” (Sept. 16, 2022, Weathermaker Music). Watch the music video below. The track also is available from all streaming services, and the album is available for pre-order here.
“The lyrics for ‘Slaughter Beach’ were inspired by a late night walk along the southern Delaware Bay,” frontman Neil Fallon said. “Odd things happen there.”
The official video for the track was directed by My Good Eye‘s David Brodsky and embraces the band’s trademark storytelling skill.
Recorded at the the Magpie Cage Recording Studio in Baltimore, Maryland, the album was produced and mixed by Grammy-nominated Tom Dalgety (Ghost, Royal Blood, Pixies) with additional engineering by J Robbins (Jawbreaker, Against Me!, The Sword).
