Sonic Universe, featuring Living Colour singer Corey Glover, has shared the video for the title track of its upcoming debut album, “It Is What It Is.” Pre-order the album, which will be released May 10, 2024, via earMUSIC, here, and watch the video below.
Sonic Universe features Glover joining forces with Mike Orlando, guitarist and founding member of Adrenaline Mob. The band also includes bassist Booker King and drummer Taykwuan Jackson laying down what Glover called “a tight, tight, tight groove.”
“The whole idea is that in order to make something new, you have to destroy the old,” Glover said. “We do everything we can to change things, but the only way that you can change things is to believe.”
Orlando produced, engineered and mixed the 10-song album at Sonic Stomp Studios.
