Vocalist/guitarist/songwriter Myles Kennedy—known for his work with Alter Bridge and Slash and the Conspirators—will release his third solo album, “The Art of Letting Go,” on Oct. 11, 2024, via Napalm Records. The record, which again finds Kennedy backed by Zia Uddin on drums and Tim Tournier on bass, is available for pre-order in multiple configurations here.
A music video for the first single, “Say What You Will,” can be seen below. Directed by Gordy De St Jeor (Mammoth WVH), the video tells the story of a bullied and timid student who breaks out of her shell with the help of a teacher, janitor and lunch person portrayed by Kennedy, Uddin and Tournier in the school talent show.

To celebrate the release of “The Art Of Letting Go,” Kennedy and his trio will hit the road in support of the new album. A six-date U.K. run with support from Devin Townsend recently went on sale for November and December 2024. Twenty more newly announced dates are being added to the tour all across Europe starting in October. The additional European dates will feature support from Black River Delta and Cardinal Black. The band also will bring the tour to North America in January and February 2025. Those shows will feature special guest Tim Montana.
