Raleigh, North Carolina’s Larcenia Roe has shared the new single and video “Lip Split” from its upcoming debut album, “Extraction” (May 16, 2025, Unique Leader Records; pre-order here).
Formed in 2023, the deathcore outfit has captured listeners’ attention with its twisted imagery, jump scare structure and breakthrough vocal performances. For the first time on “Lip Split,” Larcenia Roe welcomes dueling vocals from Ryan Vail and guitarist Henry Koster (The Onlooker). The design of this track has no objective other than making your body move with a sprinkle of salt and slam.

Dental instruments, blast beats and breakdowns. From Larcenia Roe’s debut EP, “Dereliction” (2024), the band garnered high praise and coverage by influencers, SubReddits and social media outlets. In less than a year from its nativity, the band signed with Unique Leader Records, cementing its way into being one of the fastest growing bands in extreme metal.
Featuring 10 songs, “Extraction” includes new layers with accompanying features from Vulvodynia, Filth and Alex Koehler. Written and produced by the founding members, Ryan Vail (vocalist/producer) and Henry Koster (composer/guitarist), the approach evolves from the debut EP, bringing in sounds from multiple extreme subgenres.
