John Corabi (The Dead Daisies, Mötley Crüe, Ratt, The Scream), who will release his debut solo album, “New Day,” on April 24, 2026, will play a handful of spring and summer shows with the Tom Keifer Band.
Corabi and his band are performing under the name John Corabi and Friends. Making its debut in December in Nashville, Tennessee, the group featured, in addition to Corabi on vocals and guitar, guitarist/vocalis Marti Frederiksen, bassist/vocalist Michael Devin (The Dead Daisies, Whitesnake), keyboardist/guitarist/vocalist Paul Taylor (Winger), guitarist/vocalist Jeremy Asbrock (Ace Frehley) and drummer Troy Luccketta (Tesla).
John Corabi also will tour the U.K. and Europe starting in February.
“New Day” is available for pre-order via Frontiers Music Srl.
“‘New Day’ is a positive, upbeat song with a message of enjoy life!” Corabi said. “Stop whining and complaining about how unfair life is, and enjoy the ‘little beautiful things, life offers’ and make the changes you need to make your life better! Change happens within.”
Recorded in Nashville during summer 2025 and produced by multi-platinum songwriter and producer Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Buckcherry), the album fuses classic ’70s rock, soul and blues influences.
The record features the previously released singles “Così Bella (So Beautiful)” (2021) and “Your Own Worst Enemy” (2022). Throughout the album, Corabi is joined by Frederiksen, who adds backing vocals, guitars, piano and percussion; Evan Frederiksen on drums, bass, B3 organ, electric guitar, mandolin and programming; Richard Fortus (Guns N’ Roses) on lead guitar; Paul Taylor (Winger, Steve Perry) on piano, organ and clavinet; and Charlie Starr (Blackberry Smoke) offering guitar solos.
“I’m very excited for everybody to hear this new collection of songs!” Corabi said. “I wanted to put together an album of eclectic, organic songs that are reminiscent of the music I grew up listening to, and I truly believe the mission was accomplished! This is a ’60s/’70s-sounding classic rock and roll record. … Turn it up and enjoy!”
