Plush drops new single ‘Why,’ co-written and co-produced by David Draiman of Disturbed

Rock band Plush has dropped the new single “Why,” co-written and co-produced by vocalist Moriah Formica and David Draiman of Disturbed, along with Johnny K.

We live in challenging times,” Formica said. “That reality has often left me feeling deeply empty and hopeless. ‘Why’ is a song that conveys that sentiment.”

On collaborating with Draiman and Johnny K, Formica said: “Writing this with David Draiman was an amazing experience. It was also special to be able to co-produce with Johnny K, who was instrumental in helping to launch Disturbed and Plush, so there was a familiar energy throughout the process.”

In addition to Formica, Plush features bassist Ashley Suppa and drummer Faith Powell. Guitarist Bella Perron recently left the band.

Plush is set to embark on a North American headline tour from July to September 2025. Find those dates in the graphic below. There is no word yet on who will fill Perron’s spot on guitar.

Plush released its self-titled debut album in 2021, followed by the “Find the Beautiful” EP in 2024 and the “Live USA ’24” live album in 2025.
