A month after releasing the single “Twisting the Knife” (featuring Mckenna Grace) for “Scream 7,” Ice Nine Kills is teasing the release of another new song, this one for the new horror movie “Ready or Not 2: Here I Come,” in theaters March 20, 2026. The song is titled “Hell or High Slaughter” and is credited officially as “Ice Nine Kills Presents Grave Diggler,” Grave Diggler being a parody of an ’80s metal band featuring the members of Ice Nine Kills.
Accompanying the song is a mini documentary series from Broken Lizard’s Paul Soter (“Super Troopers,” “Beer Fest,” “Club Dread”), director Myles Erfurth (Pandemic Sex Party) and Ice Nine Kills mastermind Spencer Charnas. It features interviews with “Ready or Not 2” cast members Samara Weaving, Kathryn Newton and Elijah Wood; directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett; Stephen Pearcy (Ratt); Matt Pinfield (MTV); Michael Starr (Steel Panther); veteran rock manager Andy Gould; Jose Mangin (SiriusXM); James A. Janisse and Chelsea Rebecca (Dead Meat); and both Sonny and Spencer Charnas.
