Japanese metal band Babymetal will bring its 2026 world tour to North America and Latin America. Halestorm and Violent Vira will support on the North American dates.
Tickets for the shows in the United States and Canada will be available starting with an artist presale starting at 10 a.m. Monday, April 6; you can sign up now until April 5 at the link here. A Citi presale will begin on April 6, with additional presales running throughout the week ahead of the general on-sale starting at 10 a.m. Friday, April 10. Tickets for Latin American dates will be available starting with an artist presale from 10 a.m. April 20 through 11 p.m. April 21. Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 22.
Babymetal also release “Metal Forth (Deluxe Edition)” via Capital Records on June 26, 2026. It will be available digitally and on vinyl, which will feature a zoetrope design with 10 icons from the record brought to life in motion. It will feature three live performances off the record and two remixes from Major Lazer and Jordan Fish of the track “from me to u (feat. Poppy).”
“Metal Forth” made its debut last year at number 9 on the Billboard 200, marking the band’s first-ever U.S. top 10 album. This is the first time in history that an all-Japanese fronted group has made this list. The project amassed over 200 million global streams and sold 36,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
“Metal Forth” also debuted at number 10 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut U.S. Chart and number 2 on the U.S. iTunes Download Album Chart. In Japan, the album entered at number 1 on the Oricon Rock Chart, number 1 on the Digital Albums Chart and number 3 on the overall Oricon chart. Internationally, the album landed top 10 in Germany, a career-best after charting at number 24 with “The Other One” and number 18 with “Metal Galaxy.” It also broke the top 20 in the U.K. and achieved career-high positions in the Netherlands and France.
