My pick of the week goes to Polish death metal masters Decapitated. Now that the band’s legal problems are behind them, they can once again concentrate on music and touring. The band were charged with kidnapping and gang raping a women concert-goer post-show in Spokane, Washington State, August 31, 2017. All charges were then eventually dropped, citing “The well-being of the victim.” Now that that’s out of the way, check out this very early Sepultura-sounding song, with an accompanying video, called “Kill The Cult.”
The track comes from Decapitated’s latest album “Anticult,” which was released July 7, 2017 via Nuclear Blast Records. The clip was directed by Lukasz Jaszak, who previously directed the music video for “Never” and created the cover art for Decapitated’s three most recent albums.
