Ukrainian metal band Jinjer has released the fourth video single, “Teacher, Teacher!,” from its five-track EP, “Micro,” released in January via Napalm Records.
Filmed in various concert venues throughout Europe on its last tour with Amorphis and Soilwork, “Teacher, Teacher!” is a portrayal of Jinjer’s energetic live show mixed over its progressive groove metal sound.
“The idea behind the song is about people that dictate their agenda by means of their status, position or just their internet claim to fame in order to impose their opinion onto others but those opinions aren’t based on experience nor knowledge,” the band said of the song.
Jinjer currently is booking more tours, with dates already announced in Japan, Turkey, South Africa and Europe. All tour dates are below.
In a recent interview with Live Metal, frontwoman Tatiana Shmailyuk revealed plans to release a new full-length album in the fall and return to North America around the time of its release.
