Band performance times and details for the official pre-party for the ninth annual Welcome to Rockville are available now.
On Friday, May 3, Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, “Florida’s Biggest Rock Experience” will take over Metropolitan Park along the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida, with sets from some of the biggest names in rock, including Tool, Korn, Rob Zombie, Incubus, Judas Priest, Evanescence, Shinedown, Bring Me the Horizon, Chevelle, Circa Survive, Yelawolf and Meshuggah. More than 50 bands will appear on three stages over the course of the weekend.
A limited number of General Admission and VIP tickets, as well as camping passes, for are available atwww.WelcomeToRockvilleFestival.com. VIP Weekend and VIP Sunday tickets, as well as hotel packages, are sold out.
Danny Wimmer Presents also has a collaboration with Metallica’s Blackened Whiskey and Enter Night Pilsner. Blackened, a super-premium American whiskey blend crafted by the late Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and finished in the music of Metallica, and Enter Night Pilsner, a collaboration with the rockstars of craft brewing Stone Brewing Company, will come together under one roof. The Boilermaker pop-up will feature a Blackened and Enter Night Boilermaker, as well as craft cocktails and ice-cold Enter Night Pilsner.
The official pre-party featuring Amigo the Devil, Secret Social Club and a special guest will kick off the weekend Thursday, May 2, at 1904 Music Hall in Jacksonville. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the first 100 Welcome to Rockville single-day ticket or weekend wristband holders will get in free. For those needing to buy tickets, general admission is $10 and tickets are available at www.1904musichall.com.
