The Dead Daisies have announced a series of “Get Out of the House” U.S. tour dates, starting in late June 2021.
The shows will be the band’s first with its new lineup consisting of vocalist/bassist Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Country Communion), lead guitarist Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), guitarist David Lowy (Mink, Red Pheonix) and drummer Tommy Clufetos (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath). Hughes joined The Dead Daisies in 2019, replacing vocalist John Corabi and bassist Marco Mendoza, while Clufetos was announced as the new drummer in early 2021, replacing Deen Castronovo.
“We couldn’t play for you in 2020 and we’re really looking forward to seeing you in June/July for our ‘Get Out of the House’ shows and then hit as many stages around the world as possible throughout the rest of the year,” Hughes said. “Love is the answer and music is the healer, let’s rock ‘n’ roll together.”
With more dates planned, but yet to be locked in due to COVID restrictions, the band hopes to immediately follow up with more shows in the U.K., U.S., Japan, Canada, Russia and Europe in the months to come.
The Dead Daisies’ latest album, “Holy Ground,” was released in January 2021.
The band also recently launched its own radio show called “Live from Daisyland” in partnership with Monsters of Rock Radio, airing at 3 p.m. PST every Wednesday.
