Toronto-based hard rock outfit Brkn Love has released a cover of the Post Malone song “Allergic” from his 2019 album “Hollywood’s Bleeding.”
Brkn Love, which released its self-titled debut in 2020, has spent the past year working on its follow-up effort.
“Post Malone is a rock star and everyone knows it,” the band said. “We wanted to exploit that. When I first listened to Hollywood’s Bleeding, I thought to myself, ‘this is a rock album hiding behind hip-hop production.’ ‘Allergic’ was the closest thing I’d heard that was almost a hard rockin’ song, and I just thought it would be fun to take a crack at it. This is a tribute to one of music’s biggest icons, and I hope you enjoy our take!”
In addition, Brkn Love will hit the road this summer with Pop Evil. Zero 9:36 also will be on the tour.
