Ghost will release “Impera,” its fifth full-length studio album, on March 11, 2022. The single and video “Call Me Little Sunshine” is available now.

“Impera” finds Ghost transported hundreds of years forward from the 14th century Europe Black Plague era of its previous album, 2018’s “Prequelle.” Over the course of the record’s 12-song cycle, empires rise and fall, would-be messiahs ply their hype (financial and spiritual alike), prophecies are foretold as the skies fill with celestial bodies divine and manmade.
The album was produced by Klas Åhlund and mixed by Andy Wallace. It includes the hit single “Hunter’s Moon” featured in the end credits of “Halloween Kills,” released in October 2021.
The album release will come just after Ghost’s co-headline U.S. tour with Volbeat. Tickets for all dates on the Live Nation produced tour, also featuring Twin Temple, are on sale now, with tickets and band-specific VIP packages available at ghost-official.com and volbeat.dk.
