Ice Nine Kills releases animated ‘Take Your Pick’ video

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Ice Nine Kills has released an animated video for “Take Your Pick,” which features guest vocals by George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher of Cannibal Corpse. The song is from the band’s 2021 album, “The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood,” which Live Metal named the best album of the year, and is based on the 1981 slasher film “My Bloody Valentine.” Watch the video below and stream the track here.

“To pay tribute to one of the most vicious slashers of the 1980s, we knew we had to cook up a video and musical number with only two things in mind—brutality and poor taste,” INK frontman Spencer Charnas said. “We are honored to have the legendary Corpsegrinder providing his signature vocal assault, which will hopefully disembowel the listener.

“With so many ways to die this Valentine’s Day, take your pick …”

The video was produced by E.I.E. Productions, and animated and directed by Dewald de la Rey from a script by Charnas and de la Rey.
