Modern Mimes, a trio from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has released a cover of Sevendust’s “My Ruin.”
“We are super excited to share this tribute to one of our favorite bands and biggest influences. Sevendust!” the band said.

The trio consists of Adi Elcida Hernandez on vocals/guitar/sampling, Ernesto Paez on the double and neck guitar and bass and Justin Perez on drums. A press release describes its music as “future goth,” a term the group coined to explain the fusion of alternative heavy guitar riffs, haunting vocals, subconscious provoking lyrics, electronic drums and pop melodies.
Modern Mimes will join Artifas on tour this summer.
