Jose Mangin has signed a multiyear deal with Danny Wimmer Presents to serve as the official host and live correspondent of rock festivals Welcome to Rockville, Inkcarcration, Aftershock and Louder Than Life.

Jose’s energy is contagious and we know our fans will dig getting to see him at the festival, along with all the great content he’ll be grabbing backstage. Welcome to the family Jose!”

Mangin, known as the “Metal Ambassador,” is one of the most recognized personalities and voices in hard rock, heavy metal and extreme music culture as an on-air host on SiriusXM’s Octane and Liquid Metal. With more than 20 years under his belt, he is SiriusXM’s longest-running rock radio host. He’s regularly appeared on “The Howard Stern Show,” “Raw Dog Comedy” and the “Covino & Rich Show.”
The 2022 festival schedule is as follows.
- Welcome to Rockville (Daytona, Florida), May 19 to 22
- Inkcarceration (Mansfield, Ohio), July 15 to 17
- Louder Than Life (Louisville, Kentucky), Sept. 22 to 25
- Aftershock (Sacramento, California), Oct. 6 to 9
In addition, Mangin will serve as the official host of the Blue Ridge Rock Festival, which will be held Sept. 8 to 11 in Danville, Virginia. It is not a DWP event.
