Italian metal band Lacuna Coil has released the new single “Swamped XX.” This song follows the previously launched “Tight Rope XX,” which also is from the upcoming “Comalies XX,” a newly recorded version of the band’s breakthrough 2002 album that will be released on Oct. 14, 2022, via Century Media Records. “Comalies XX” is not just a re-recording but an entirely deconstructed and remade version of “Comalies.”
“Welcome to ‘Comalies XX,’ a brand-new record,” the band said. “To celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Comalies,’ we felt this special album deserved more than a remastering. We didn’t just give it a new dress, we built a new skeleton and gave it new skin and a new life. ‘Comalies XX’ is alive and walks alone, this is not a remake or a reboot, it’s ‘Comalies’ on steroids!”
“Comalies XX” will be available in the following vinyl variants:
- Ltd. Gatefold black 2LP+2CD & LP-Booklet – Unlimited
- Ltd. Gatefold red 2LP+2CD & LP-Booklet – 300x copies via all UK outlets
