Southern Lord Recordings will release crossover thrash band Power Trip’s “Live in Seattle 05.28.2018” on vinyl, CD and digital formats on June 23, 2023.
The album was recorded at Neumos in Seattle, Washington.
Pre-orders for vinyl and CD will start May 5. The digital pre-order is available here via bandcamp.
The “Live in Seattle” recording received its original digital release in June 2020.
The set list is a selection of classic tracks from the band’s discography, including the Grammy-nominated “Executioner’s Tax (Swing of the Axe),” “Conditioned to Death,” “Firing Squad” and even deep cu /fan favorite, “Suffer No Fool.”
Power Trip has been inactive as a unit since the death of vocalist Riley Gale on Aug. 24, 2020, though the surviving members have expressed their desire to continue making music together.
