Veteran metal bands Prong and Voivod will team up in early 2024 to co-headline a North American tour. The run will kick off Feb. 28 in Columbus, Ohio, and end March 24 in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.
Tickets go on sale at noon EST Friday, Dec. 15, and can be purchased via local venues or by visiting www.prongmusic.com.
This tour will mark a reunion of sorts for the two bands, which long have admired each other’s work and have been eagerly awaiting the opportunity to hit the road together again. Fans can expect a blend of new hits and classic favorites.
The decision to embark on this tour was an easy one for both bands, united by their acclaimed new records. Prong’s 13th album, “State of Emergency,” was released on Oct. 6, 2023, via Steamhammer/SPV, debuting at number 5 on the U.S. Current Hard Music Albums chart, number 9 on the Top New Artist Albums chart and number 17 on the Metal Contraband year-end spins chart. Voivod recently released its 40th anniversary album, “Morgöth Tales.”
