Ukrainian metal band Jinjer has dropped a new live video for its popular song “Pisces,” from its upcoming live DVD/Blu-ray “Live in Los Angeles” (May 17, 2024, Napalm Records; pre-order here).
With over 80 million streams, “Pisces” was a groundbreaking track in Jinjer’s career.
“We somehow missed the point when ‘Pisces’ became more than just a good song for so many people,” the band said. “Only years after its release, we are only now starting to comprehend how people relate to this track, how much it has done for us as a band and why it is so special for so many people. It is always a huge pleasure to perform it live and to hear you sing along. It is almost a spiritual experience.”
Recorded and filmed on Dec. 22, 2022, “Live in Los Angeles” is a celebration of the band’s 15 years of success. Known for its relentless touring, Jinjer has played at major festivals worldwide, including Hellfest, Rock Am Ring, Graspop Metal Meeting and Rocklahoma USA. The also has headlined sold-out shows across Europe and North America, as well as thrilling audiences in destinations like Dubai, the Philippines, Türkiye, Japan and South Africa.

“Live in Los Angeles” was a spontaneous decision by the band, recorded as raw as possible, to emphasize the passion that can come from a live show. The live album contains 16 songs in various audio formats, with some limited; the deluxe digipack features a DVD, Blu-ray and two more songs, “Wallflower” and “Disclosure!,” recorded in Paris in 2023.
