Skid Row will release its first-ever live album, “Live in London,” on Sept. 20, 2024, via earMUSIC. The recording features the band performing with singer Erik Grönwall, who departed earlier in 2024 to focus on his health.
Recorded on Oct. 24, 2022 at 02 Forum Kentish Town, the album features Skid Row’s biggest hits, such as “18 and Life,” “Monkey Business” and “I Remember You,” as well as songs from its 2022 release “The Gang’s All Here” (its only studio album with Grönwall).
“As teens, we dreamt of playing places like the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, N.J., and CBGB in New York City … Our dreams became bigger with London, England, at the forefront,” the band said. “We fantasized one day to headline a show in the very city where so many of our favorite bands came from.”
Set opener “Slave to the Grind” has been chosen as the first single and video.
“London has always been a home away from home for us,” bassist Rachel Bolan said. “We are very excited to finally capture a live show on video for the rest of the world to see.”
“After the release of ‘The Gangs All Here’ album we realized that something special was happening,” guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo said. “This record perfectly captures that moment in time. Thank you, London! You always deliver!! Onward and upward.”

Following Grönwall’s departure, Skid Row played four live shows with Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale on vocals. After those shows, Hale said on social media that she was unable to commit full-time to the band, and Skid Row now is looking for its next singer.
