Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival has announced the music set times and additional onsite experiences for the July 19, 20 and 21, 2024, event at Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio.
The new Inkcarceration mobile app is available for download in app stores, providing festival-goers with an essential tool to enhance their experience.
Following three consecutive years of sellouts, Inkcarceration will feature three stages with three full days of music from bands including headliners Shinedown, Godsmack and Breaking Benjamin, as well as fan favorites such as The Offspring, Bad Omens, Halestorm, Parkway Drive, I Prevail, Chevelle, Dropkick Murphys, Sleeping with Sirens, Killswitch Engage, Hollywood Undead, Machine Head, Sevendust, Of Mice & Men and many more. Inkcarceration also will make Chimaira’s first U.S. festival appearance in 14 years, several other reunion and rare performances, and will be one of a limited number of Shinedown shows in 2024.
Onsite experiences will include
- Blood Prison Tour: This year, the Blood Prison Tour will be complimentary and will run from noon to 5 p.m. daily during the festival. Reservations are required and can be made through the festival’s app.
- Monster Energy Activation: Festival-goers can stop by the Monster Energy activation to grab a complimentary can of Monster’s traditional flavors and latest innovations. Attendees also will have the chance to witness the metal engraving mastery of Hank Hanro Robinson and meet the Monster Energy Girls.
- Experience and Partner Activations: Inkcarceration will feature popular experiences and partner activations including fan favorites The Whiskey Bar presented by Blackened, Bud Light Seltzer, Middle West Spirits and Take Me Home.
- Food offerings: A variety of food options will be available to ensure that attendees can refuel and recharge throughout the festival. Detailed information on food offerings can be accessed through the festival’s app.
In addition, Inkcarceration attendees have the opportunity to get inked at the onsite tattoo convention, the Monster Energy Tattoo X, hosted inside the historic prison made famous by the film “The Shawshank Redemption.” More than 115 tattoo artists will participate in the convention.
Fans also can take self-guided tours of the historic and reportedly haunted Ohio State Reformatory for free throughout the weekend.
A limited number of weekend and single day General Admission and VIP passes are available at www.inkcarceration.com.
The campground programming for 2024 will include live music, drinks and late-night eats every night starting at 11:30 p.m. at the outdoor camping lounge and stage (available to campers only). There also will be daily campground contests around the “Nightmare Masquerade” theme.
The campgrounds will come alive starting Thursday, July 18, with a pre-party from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., featuring:
- Rock Capitol Live Band Karaoke
- Southbound Beretta
- Juke Joint (DJ rock party)
- Special Screening of “I Stand Alone: The Sully Erna Story”
- Friday through Sunday the music continues as the campgrounds will host live after parties featuring performances by Hannan, Influence, Heathensun, The Convalescence, Fight from Within, The Behest of Serpents, Lydia Can’t Breathe, Zakk Cash and Titans in Time.
