German power metal band Powerwolf has shared “Sinners of the Seven Seas,” the second single from its upcoming album, “Wake Up the Wicked,” out July 26, 2024, via Napalm Records (pre-order here).
The filming of the accompanying music video took place in Switzerland and the south of France. The main location is a historical replica of a famous three-mast sailing ship from the fleet of Magellan’s first circumnavigation of the world in the 16th century. The replica has been used previously as a location for several films and series.
The follow-up to 2021’s “Call of the Wild,” “Wake Up the Wicked” will be released just in time for Powerwolf’s first full North American tour, starting in August 2024, followed by its biggest European headline tour to date, the Wolfsnächte 2024.
