Teen metal band Chained Saint shares debut single ‘Animosity’

Born in a South Florida garage back in summer 2022, Chained Saint’s forthcoming debut album, “Blindside,” combines the riffing of the old-school ’80s thrash metal with a dash of modern-day brutality.

Composed of four high school students—Ethan Kahn (17, guitar), Sebastian De Avila (18, bass), Cameron Cottrell (19, drums) and Sean Sterling (18, vocals)—Chained Saint has shared the video for its debut single, “Animosity.”

“We are super hyped to release our debut single, ‘Animosity,’ and thrilled for the world to hear our music finally,” the band said. “We’re also beyond grateful for everyone involved with the launch. We wouldn’t have picked another song to mark the beginning of our journey as Chained Saint.”

Produced by William DuVall of Alice in Chains, “Blindside” was recorded and mixed to analog tape with no computers involved in the recording sessions. The album will arrive in late August 2024 via Patriark Records.
