In addition to the release announcement, Diamante has stepped into the spotlight as part of the soundtrack lineup with her cover of the Pat Benatar hit “Love Is a Battlefield.” Stream the track here, and watch the official video below.

“Since I can remember, I have always been a huge fan of songs from the ’80s, especially of the female powerhouse vocalists of that time,” Diamante said. “In particular, Pat Benatar has always been a hero of mine, and I love nothing more than a good challenge. So for me, recording this version of “Love Is a Battlefield” was a lifelong dream come true.”

“We are beyond excited to present this soundtrack as a true celebration of music and storytelling, brought together by some of the most talented and dynamic artists in the industry today,” said Nathan Yocum, president of Sumerian Comics. “This project is a testament to the power of collaboration, and we can’t wait for fans to experience how these songs complement the world of American Psycho in a bold and electrifying way. It’s more than just a soundtrack—it’s a journey into the dark and thrilling atmosphere that this series embodies.”

The “American Psycho” comic book series is a reimagining of Patrick Bateman’s notorious saga. The five-issue series delves into a dual storyline format, one tracing the chilling exploits of Bateman and the other introducing a contemporary narrative featuring Charlene Carruthers—a social media-savvy millennial whose descent into violence mirrors the escalation of her predecessor. This take reinterprets the iconic tale with a story written by Michael Calero (“Quested”), artwork by Piotr Kowalski (“The Witcher,” “Bloodborne,” “Sex”) and colors by Brad Simpson (“Kong of Skull Island,” “Stray Dogs,” “Blade Runner Origins”).

Prior to today, Diamante announced her signing with Sumerian Records and dropped the single “All for the Glory” along with the Lucha Libre-inspired music video.
