Heavy rock/metal band Oni has dropped a new single, “Deja Vu,” ahead of its return to the stage in November 2024 for a tour supporting Pop Evil and Bad Wolves. Watch the lyric video below.
“‘Deja Vu’ is about seeing people in your dreams or in real life that you have resolved a wrong with, and you are moving on and letting them go,” project mastermind Jake Oni said. “This can take form in a lot of ways, a relationship, a friend, someone that betrayed you or someone that traumatized you. But youāve moved on and let them go, and you end up seeing them again or running into them after time has passed, like a deja vu.”
“Deja Vu” follows “Control” and “Walk Away” (featuring lil aaron) as Oni’s third single in recent months produced by Josh Gilbert (Spiritbox, Bullet for My Valentine). The new track’s accompanying lyric video was created by Nick Hipa (As I Lay Dying).
