Horror-inspired Raleigh, North Carolina, deathcore act Larcenia Roe has dropped the new single and video “Eggy Mess” (feat. Vulvodynia). The track is the latest preview of the band’s debut full-length, “Extraction,” due May 16, 2025, via Unique Leader Records (pre-order here). Watch the video below.
First heard (and felt) on the 2024 Unique Legion Tour, “Eggy Mess” is a collaboration with labelmate Lwandile Prusent of Vulvodynia. A press release describes the song as “2 minutes and 45 seconds of uneasy, in your face, fist spinning, pace and beatdowns. This is an anger track.”
“Your life’s a mess and you know it,” the band added.
Dental instruments, blast beats and breakdowns. From Larcenia Roe’s debut EP, “Dereliction” (2024), the band garnered high praise and coverage by influencers, SubReddits and social media outlets. In less than a year from its nativity, the band signed with Unique Leader Records, cementing its way into being one of the fastest growing bands in extreme metal.
Featuring 10 songs, “Extraction” includes new layers with accompanying features from Vulvodynia, Filth and Alex Koehler. Written and produced by the founding members, Ryan Vail (vocalist/producer) and Henry Koster (composer/guitarist), the approach evolves from the debut EP, bringing in sounds from multiple extreme subgenres.
Larcenia Roe previously shared videos for singles “Lip Split” and “Carolina Crowd Killer” (feat. Filth).
