Indigenous black metal master Blackbraid will release his next album, “Blackbraid III,” independently on Aug. 8, 2025. New music will be revealed soon.
The album artwork was created in collaboration with Adam Burke, who handled the painting, and mainstay Blackbraid album artist Adrian Baxter, who did the illustration. It can be found below along with the track list.
In addition, Blackbraid has partnered with Fire in the Mountains Festival to curate a special pre-release event where festival attendees will get to hear the new record ahead of its release. Fire in the Mountains will take place July 25 to 27 at the Red Eagle Campground on the Blackfeet Nation Reserve in Montana. Other confirmed artists include Wardruna, Old Man’s Child and Blood Incantation with additional bands to be announced. Blackbraid’s most recent album, 2023’s “Blackbraid II,” can be streamed everywhere or ordered via Bandcamp or the official merch stores in the U.S.A. and E.U.
