Kami Kehoe shares new single ‘Dopamine,’ set for Seether/Daughtry tour

Kami Kehoe, just announced as support on a fall 2025 U.S. tour featuring Seether, Daughtry and P.O.D., has shared the new single “Dopamine” from her upcoming EP, “Kandy,” set for release on July 18, via Coup D’Etat Recordings and 10K Projects. Pre-save “Kandy” here.

What began as a handful of cryptic teasers quickly erupted into a fan-fueled phenomenon, as early previews of “Kandy” exploded across social media, racking up more than 7 million views before the first track even dropped. The response from fans sharing, debating and rallying behind each new snippet fast-tracked the EP’s release date, transforming what could have been a routine rollout into a genuine, fan-powered movement.

“I wrote ‘Dopamine’ when I was at a pretty low spot in my life, this song really healed something in me, and I hope it can do the same for anyone who needs it,” Kehoe said. “I was going through a breakup while writing this EP. Each song helped me get through my heartache. I was able to pull from my own experiences from my perspective and there’s. The main concept of this entire EP is that even when something is good or feels good doesn’t always mean it’s good for you. I use a lot of metaphors relating to candy, drugs and all these ‘wrong’ things that may feel right sometimes and compared it to how I felt with my past relationship. I hope this EP can help anyone who needs it like it did for me.”

“Kandy” track listing:

  1. Kandy
  2. Obsessed
  3. Make U Hate Me
  4. Dopamine
  5. Come Down

Carving out her own space in the alt-rock world, Kehoe has amassed over 25 million streams and more than 24 million TikTok views. Since breaking out with the viral hit “Sleep When I’m Dead”, she has continued to evolve her sound—infusing shoegaze, metal and hip-hop influences into her music.
