Inkcarceration sets band performance schedules for 2025 festival

The music set times and additional onsite experiences have been announced for the seventh Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. The event will feature 66 rock and metal bands across three stages, along with more than 100 tattoo artists and haunted attractions, July 18 to 20 at the historic Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio.

Festival producer Danny Wimmer Presents also has launched the 2025 Inkcarceration mobile app so fans can create personalized itineraries for the weekend and reserve their tours of Blood Prison.

Friday at Inkcarceration will feature headliner Falling in Reverse, along with Knocked Loose and Beartooth; Saturday will be headlined by Slipknot, supported by Marilyn Manson and Slaughter to Prevail; and Five Finger Death Punch will headline Sunday, joined by Three Days Grace (with Adam Gontier) and Lamb of God. During the festival, attendees will have the opportunity to get inked at Monster Energy Tattoo X, the onsite tattoo convention hosted inside the historic prison made famous by the film “The Shawshank Redemption.” World-renowned tattoo artist Paul Booth, “The Dark Lord of Ink,” has been added to Monster Energy Tattoo X as the headlining artist and will be tattooing during the festival.

Fans are encouraged to reserve their spot at Inkcarceration now as passes are 98 percent sold out. A limited number of 3-Day General Admission passes, Friday GA passes, as well as Sunday GA and VIP passes are available, with options to buy now and pay later via Zip.

Festival gates will open at 11 a.m. daily.

Some of the special appearances and reunions at Inkcarceration will include:

  • Acid Bath: Rare performance from the band that has reunited after 28 years
  • Crossfade: One of the band’s first performances in 13 years
  • Reunion shows for Three Days Grace (with original vocalist Adam Gontier), The Dillinger Escape Plan, Chiodos, Dry Kill Logic and Snot

Inkcarceration will have an expanded festival footprint this year, which means more space, better viewing and more shade for fans. With the improved festival layout, the Ohio State Reformatory will be the iconic backdrop to the main festival stages.

In addition, Inkcarceration is the only time outside of the Halloween season that the award-winning Blood Prison experience is open to guests. Reservations are available now via the Inkcarceration app.

For a fully immersive weekend experience, fans are encouraged to explore camping options, which include exclusive access to the Thursday Night Campground Party in the campgrounds (only available to campers), as well as official campground parties each night of the festival until 2 a.m.. A limited number of Car + Tent Weekend Camping Packages are available (RV camping is sold out). Admission to the festival is not included  with Camping Packages and must be purchased separately. Hotel packages bundling hotel nights and festival passes are available via Jampack. Service fees on all pass purchases include a charity fee for the DWP Foundation, which gives back to local and national charities throughout the year.

In addition to music performances across three stages, Inkcarceration will feature various partner onsite activations, award-winning beverages and delectable eats. The festival ‘s 2025 partners include Acathla Clothing, Blackcraft, Bud Light, Demons Behind Me, Dimebag Hardware, Fxck Cancer, Middle West Spirits, Monster Energy, Nowhere Fast, Parlor Root Beer, Take Me Home, The Taylor Foundation and To Write Love on Her Arms.

Inkcarceration draws fans from every state and many countries around the world. The festival had another record-setting year in 2024 with 75,000 fans in attendance. The 2024 event brought in more than $10 million in economic impact to the area, and Inkcarceration’s overall economic impact totals more than $50 million since the festival began in 2018. Following four consecutive years of sellouts, 2025 marks the biggest year yet for Inkcarceration.

Inkcarceration is co-produced by Danny Wimmer Presents, one of the largest independent producers of destination music festivals in America, and Reinkcarceration LLC, a partnership that formed with the original founders of INK in 2021.
