Reba Meyers shares ‘Clouded World,’ title track of upcoming debut solo album

Reba Meyers (Code Orange) has shared “Clouded World,” the title track and third single from her upcoming debut solo album, expected to arrive in early 2026. The accompanying video, directed by Sanford Worth and Tony Aguilera, features cameos from Myles Ulrich (Taipei Houston) and solo artist Lola Colette.

The song was recorded by the late Steve Albini at Electrical Audio, just six months before his passing.

“Steve championed the medium of physical recordings, and that process inherently encourages the commitment to imperfection,” Meyers said. “I hope to embrace the randomness and grit of life, which includes our imperfections, as both their beauty and ugliness are often able to both inspire and teach us about our inner workings.”

On the meaning behind “Clouded World,” she said: “Too many aspects of the modern human condition feel entirely over-labored and orchestrated. We have drifted far from our primal instincts and have gotten so distracted by the myriad tools at our fingertips that we forget that our human imperfections are the one thing that makes us special and unpredictable.”

Both of Meyers’s previously released singles have showcased a different side of her musical range, from the ‘90s-inspired alt-rock of “Certain Uncertainty” (featuring Gil Sharone on drums and a video shot by Greg Puciato) to the moody, electronic “Got Your Hold on Me” mixed by Steve Evetts (The Cure, The Wonder Years).

Alongside the single, Meyers has announced her debut solo tour, kicking off Aug. 12, 2025, with stops in major U.S. cities. Ninth Cage (featuring members of Year of the Knife) and artist/writer Kimi Malka Hanauer will support on select dates.
