Frayle shares single and video ‘Boo’ from upcoming album ‘Heretics & Lullabies’

Modern American doom metal band Frayle has shared the single and video “Boo,” from its new album, “Heretics & Lullabies,” due for release this Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, via Napalm Records. (Get it here.)

“’Boo’ was inspired by an incident in Germany, when Gwyn, walking alone on a dark street, startled a woman traveling with her companions,” the band said. “She screamed, and the entire group hurried to the other side of the road. The song is a tongue-in-cheek response to moments like these—because for some of us, every day is Halloween.”

Frayle merges the heaviness of occult-driven doom and blackgaze with frontwoman Gwyn Strang’s eerie vocal stylings and the crushing guitars of Sean Bilovecky. “Heretics & Lullabies” was recorded by the band, and produced, mixed and mastered by Aaron Chaparian at Iron Audio (Bleeding Through, Harms Way).
