“Scream 7” will hit theaters on Feb. 27. It was directed and co-written by Kevin Williamson, returning to the franchise he created by writing “Scream” (1996) and “Scream 2” (1997). It also features the return of Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott and co-stars Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, David Arquette, Matthew Lillard, Courteney Cox, Isabel May, Anna Camp, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Mckenna Grace, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos, Tim Simons and Joel McHale.

Ice Nine Kills previously released a “Scream”-inspired song, “Your Number’s Up,” in 2019. “Twisting the Knife” will be the band’s second song written specifically to be featured in a horror movie, following 2024’s “A Work of Art” for “Terrifier 3.” The band is expected to release a new album, the long-awaited follow-up to “The Silver Scream 2: Welcome to Horrorwood” (2021), sometime in 2026.
