Leatherwitch, featuring Polish vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Marta Gabriel (ex-Cobra Spell), will release its debut album, “First Spell,” on May 29, 2026, via Listenable Records. Pre-order it here.
The recently released debut single, “Beast Inside,” showcases headbanging rhythms, speed metal riffing, a pounding rhythm section, shredding guitar solos and catchy vocal lines. Telling a gothic horror werewolf tale, the track offers a glimpse of what to expect from “First Spell.”

Debut single “Beast Inside” is available as 7-inch red with black splatter vinyl. The limited edition bundle also includes a silver logo patch, postcard signed by Gabriel and coaster. It is limited to 300 copies worldwide.
Gabriel disbanded Crystal Viper in fall 2025. The band toured in more than 20 countries; played major festivals such as Wacken Open Air, Hellfest and Keep It True; and left a legacy of nine studio albums. Crystal Viper’s farewell live album, “The Live Quest,” came out in June 2025 on Listenable Records.
In spring 2025, Gabriel toured as the bassist for Japanese metal act Metalucifer on its Heavy Metal Anniversary European Tour and played two shows in Tokyo as a solo artist.
