Atlanta, Georgia-based rock band The Funeral Portrait has shared the new single ”My Future Prediction” via Better Noise Music. Stream the song here, and watch the lyric video below. The official music video will drop next week.
”My Future Prediction’ is about convincing yourself that a relationship is perfect, even when every warning sign is telling you otherwise,” frontman Lee Jennings said. “It’s about ignoring the red flags, romanticizing the cracks, and building an entire future in your head with someone you already know, deep down, isn’t the one. Sometimes we fall in love with the life we imagined more than the person standing in front of us.”
The Funeral Portrait kicked off 2026 by releasing the live album “Live from Suffocate City,” which followed last year’s deluxe edition of its 2024 album “Greetings from Suffocate City.” Powered by ”Suffocate City” (featuring Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills) and ”Holy Water” (featuring Ivan Moody of Five Finger Death Punch), the album has eclipsed 100 million total streams).
The Funeral Portrait is touring through the end of 2026, hitting arenas with Three Days Grace through November, in addition to a handful of headline date with Pinknoise and “Unwrapped” acoustic shows in December.
After the holidays, the band will head to the U.K. and Europe for a run supporting Black Veil Brides.
