Fame on Fire releases acoustic version of ‘Plastic Heart’

After wrapping up a North American tour opening for Zero 9:36 and its latest single “Plastic Heart” crashing into the top 40 at Active Rock radio, Florida rock band Fame on Fire has released an acoustic version of its hit song.

The band–Bryan Kuznitz (vocals), Blake Saul (guitarist), Paul Spirou (bass) and Alex Roman (drums)–released “Plastic Heart (Acoustic)” as a streaming exclusive after fans experienced it live during a recent tour stop in Colorado Springs. The band was forced to play acoustic after Roman was diagnosed with pneumonia and had to miss a few shows to recover. As fan reaction to the live acoustic version grew, the band decided to record it officially, leading to its release worldwide. The song is available via all streaming partners here, and the video can be seen below.

“We wanted to show the other side of the song. The acoustic version hits different. It’s actually more of a sad situation than a fuck you situation when someone just up and leaves and completely changes who they are leaving you feeling empty,” the band said.

Fame on Fire also recently released a music video for “Lost in Doubt.” The song has become a fan favorite on tour, and the band went through a collection of old home footage for the video. The video is a visual history of the evolution of the band from its early days learning to present-day success.

The band will be touring extensively throughout 2022 to support the new singles. Fame on Fire was recently was announced as support for Starset this spring. The band also is opening select dates on the Trinity of Terror Tour and playing various festivals and radio shows with other dates to be announced.
