Horror-themed hard rock band Dark Divine has shared the new single “Dancing Dead” via Thriller Records. The song is a follow-up single to the band’s recently released “Drown.”
“Depicted with the imagery of a cult, this is a song about people who prey on those looking to fit in,” frontman Anthony Martinez said. “Everyone’s looking for the security that comes in a group. But what if those leading the group have sinister intentions under the surface? Whether it be religious groups, political parties or even one’s own friends, it’s very easy to be so caught up in trying to be a part of something that you fail to see that which wants to do you harm.”
“Dancing Dead” will be on Dark Divine’s forthcoming debut LP due out later in 2023. This will be the follow-up to the band’s EP, “Halloweentown” (released in 2022 via InVogue Records), which has surpassed 5 million streams.
