Masked metal band Kissing Candice has returned with a new look and a new single, “Skeletons” featuring Heidi Shepherd from Butcher Babies. On this track, the band seamlessly melds its early metalcore and nu-metal influences with the melodic sensibilities of current active rock. The release follows the unveiling of the band’s new masks and its appearance at the Louder Than Life festival.
“All things must grow or risk dying,” the band said. “It is with this in mind that Kissing Candice moves on to their next evolutionary phase with ‘skeletons’ signifying the strong foundation we will build upon.”
Kissing Candice formed in 2012 and released its debut full-length, “Blind Until We Burn,” in 2015 via Victory Records. Metal Hammer highlighted Kissing Candice as a “Hot New Band” in 2015, and the band played the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival that summer.
