Havok to replace Possessed on upcoming Exodus tour

Just a couple days after Possessed was announced as the replacement for Deicide as direct support on Exodus’s spring 2025 U.S. headline tour comes word that veteran Denver, Colorado, thrash metal band Havok is replacing Possessed.

On social media, Exodus said the latest lineup change is due to “recent medical issues and limitations to Possessed.” Deicide dropped off the package due to scheduling conflicts, according to a statement from the band.

Havok now joins Misfire on the tour, titled Swarm of Horrors and kicking off April 27 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Havok, which formed in 2004, has released five studio albums, the latest of which, “V,” came in 2020. The band previously toured with Exodus in fall 2024.
