Brazilian death metal band Crypta will return to North America for a fall headline tour. The “In the Other Side Tour North America 2025” kicks off Sept. 5 in Brooklyn, New York, and ends Oct. 12 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
“It’s gonna be a blast to be back in the U.S. and Canada for this headlining run!” the band said. “We have a lot of surprises on this new show that mixes both ‘Echoes of the Soul’ and ‘Shades of Sorrow’ eras, and we can’t wait to play this killer set for the North American metalheads!”
Crypta released its sophomore record, “Shades of Sorrow,” in 2023 via Napalm Records. It debuted at number 5 on the U.S. Top New Artist Albums Chart, number 7 on the U.S. Current Hard Music Albums Chart and number 4 on the Canadian Hard Music Albums Chart.
With millions of video views, performances at Wacken Open Air among other premium festivals, and recent spots opening Hatebreed’s 30th anniversary tour in North America and supporting Ghost in Brazil, Tobias Forge’s “favorite new metal band” show no signs of slowing down.
