Black Label Society releases new single and video ‘Broken and Blind’

Black Label Society has dropped its newest single, “Broken and Blind,” via MNRK Heavy/Spinefarm Records.

This is the band’s third recent single release, following “Lord Humungus” earlier in 2025 and “The Gallows” in late 2024, leading up to the much-anticipated new Black Label Society album scheduled for early 2026.

“Broken and Blind” is available across all major digital streaming platforms, and the official music video directed by long-time collaborator Justin Reich can be seen below.

Zakk Wylde released the following statement:

“What’s going on gang? This is Zakk Wylde of Black Label Society. This is a new song called ‘Broken and Blind.’ The song is about peanut butter and chocolate and what happens when you don’t have any of it. My soul is broken and I’m blind with rage if I don’t have any peanut butter and chocolate, so there you go, it’s a new song called Broken and Blind. Thank you, have a great day.”

Black Label Society’s new album will be its 12th studio effort. In addition to Wylde on vocals and guitar, the band’s longtime lineup consists of bassist John “J.D.” DeServio, guitarist Dario Lorina and drummer Jeff Fabb. The band has been largely inactive in recent years as Wylde has toured with Pantera and his Black Sabbath tribute band, Zakk Sabbath.
