Spooky metalcore band Dark Divine has shared the new single “Fading Away” from its upcoming sophomore full-length, “Undead Melody,” due May 29, 2026, via Thriller Records. Watch the visualizer for the new song below, and pre-order/pre-save the new album here.
“‘Fading Away” is an analysis on how misinformation has been turned into a weapon to control how the masses perceive the world around them,” vocalist Anthony Martinez said. “Through the influence of the media, the government, and the internet, people have been reduced to labels and groups that are demonized to hit algorithms and garner viewership. These influences prey on the weakest, yet loudest minds to push narratives that aim to target and attack marginalized groups of people. It’s no longer about the story. It’s about the headline and the headline’s ability to grab attention and shares.”
“Undead Melody” is the follow-up to 2023’s “Deadly Fun.” It includes previously released singles “Half Past Dead,” “Midnight Masquerade,” “Permanent,” “Better Start Digging,” “Halloweentown II: Welcome Home” and “Make Me Disappear.”
