At its Oct. 7, 2023, performance at the Power Trip festival in California, Judas Priest announced on stage the arrival of a new studio album titled “Invincible Shield,” set for release on March 8, 2024, via Epic Records. “Panic Attack,” the album’s first single, will be released this Friday, Oct. 13, 2023. The sold-out Power Trip festival took place at the weekend and also featured Metallica, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses and Tool.
Judas Priest will embark on a world tour in 2024, with the U.K. leg kicking off on March 11 and including a show at London’s OVO Wembley Arena on March 21.
“Invincible Shield” will be available in multiple configurations, including two different covers for the vinyl release, picture disc vinyl, CD, cassette and a box set containing each version.
Over the past 50 years, Judas Priest has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and headlined the world’s biggest stadiums. In 2022, the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and completed a sold-out rescheduled world tour in support of its 50th anniversary.
