West Coast crossover faction Dead Heat has shared a music video for “The Order” from its new album “Process of Elimination,” out now via Metal Blade Records.
“‘The Order’ is about knowing your place in line when it comes to things,” vocalist Chris Ramos said. “Just because you’re given something, doesn’t mean you always earn it and when it comes to that, real recognizes real. Some people, all they do is leech off others and use them just to benefit themselves and break away later. Always know there’s an order to things and if you don’t follow you don’t need to be around.”
Produced by the band with Paul Fig (Deftones, Trivium, Jerry Cantrell), “Process of Elimination” is the Oxnard, California-based band’s first album for Metal Blade. It follows the 2023-released “Endless Torment” EP and serves as a continuation and progression musically, while thematically it often touches on Dead Heat’s disdain for the powers that be.
