Legendary metal band Iron Maiden will headline the Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival in Columbus, Ohio, and Boardwalk Rock in Ocean City, Maryland, in 2027 as part of the third and final North American leg of its Run for Your Lives Tour.
Iron Maiden will play Sonic Temple on Friday, May 14, and Boardwalk Rock on Sunday, May 16. Full lineups for both festivals are set to be announced next week. Sonic Temple previously announced A Perfect Circle, Primus, Sleeping With Sirens, President, Clutch, Imminence, Saosin, PeelingFlesh, Crowbar, Emmure, Escape the Fate, Showing Teeth, and Vana as part of its 2027 lineup.
Sonic Temple will take place May 13 to 16 at Historic Crew Stadium in Columbus, Ohio. Passes are available at SonicTempleFestival.com.
Boardwalk Rock, returning for its second event after its debut in 2025, will be held May 14 to 16 on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. Find more information at www.boardwalkrockfest.com.
Iron Maiden’s non-festival headline shows will feature support from Bullet for My Valentine and The Raven Age.
“As many of our fans know,” Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris said, “Maiden were planning on taking a break from live performances in 2027, but we’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed, particularly the Northwest and Southeast. It just seems fair to our many fans there who have given us tremendous support for so many years. We can’t get everywhere but we can try!”
