Nicke Andersson signs with Sound Pollution for upcoming debut solo album

Swedish musician Nicke Andersson has signed with Sound Pollution for his first solo album, to be released under the name Nicke Andersson and Nobody Else.

Andersson first gained notice as the drummer of death metal band Entombed, which he left in 1998 to focus on The Hellacopters, where he was the co-founder, guitarist and vocalist. He continued exploring new musical territory through projects including The Hydromatics, The Solution, Death Breath, Imperial State Electric and Lucifer.

With Nicke Andersson and Nobody Else, he’s taking on every aspect of a solo record for the first time, performing every instrument and handling production himself. He even has taken charge of the artwork. The result is a deeply personal album shaped by decades of experience and a lifelong love of rock music, with songs that explore ambition, exhaustion, love and identity with honesty and self-awareness.

No release date has been given for the project. Expect more information soon.
